Hello all! I have seen this making it's way around and figured I'd participate.
25 of the randomest things about myself I could force from my brain. If you want to write your own list please do so and let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of other people's information!

I am not a fan of sports, but I LOVE movies about sports.
My office is on the second floor and requires walking up a steep flight of stairs. I trip going up or down these stairs at least once a week.
I always refer to Daniel V. Gordh (Darcy from The Lizzie Bennet Diaries) as Daniel V. Getinmypants.
My grandfather had a one hit wonder in the 1950s.
I recently remembered that my fear of heights stems from a
trip I took to Knotts’ Berry Farm when I was six years old where I rode on a
parachute ride and nearly soiled myself in fear.
I own over 30 different shades of nail polish. I have
painted my nails exactly three times in the last year.
My inner monologue sounds exactly like Kate Winslet’s voiceover in this American Express commercial.
I’m a middle child. Most of the character traits that are
associated with middle children fit me to a tee.
I did not learn how to swim until I was 16 years old.
I believe I have Seasonal Affective Disorder. I’ve never been properly
diagnosed, but my moods are significantly better in spring and summer than they
are in fall and winter.
I think I come across as snarky and sarcastic, when in truth I'm a complete marshmallow who cries over just about everything.

I have never lived anywhere else but Southern California and
I don’t want to despite the incredibly high cost of living.
I am addicted to social media. I could live without Facebook, but I would slowly go insane without Twitter or Tumblr.

I have regular dance parties during my commute to work.
I absolutely love Las Vegas but I don’t think anyone should
spend more than 36 hours there at a time.
I have an almost 6 month old unpublished blog post about
my feelings about Fifty Shades of Grey and the whole fan fiction to published
fiction phenomenon that I will probably never share in public because I don’t want
to come across as emotionally unstable. (It’s a bit of a rant.)
If my life had turned out differently, I would probably be a wedding planner.

I never outwardly claimed to be a fan of BeyoncĂ©, but I’ve watched her SuperBowl Halftime Show at least
8 times.
When it comes to useless information I have a memory like an
elephant. When it comes to useful information that I will actually need in life
someday (i.e., Math) I have a memory like a goldfish.
I am convinced that secretly everything is really about me.

I’m not sure I entirely understand what a hipster is.
I always have to give myself a "You are kind, smart, and important" sort of pep talk before any social situation.
There is a tiny fangirly part of me that still thinks that someday I'll marry Leonardo DiCaprio.
I have always felt that my head is abnormally large.
I do believe in fairies.

I do believe in fairies.

I want to know what your grandfather's song was! Also, I don't think your snarky and sarcastic, just very lovable and HILARIOUS! Lastly? We need to hang out soon.
ReplyDeleteI love your list. So great. I do believe in fairies too!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the 1 hit wonder???? Please tell.
I want to read your Fifty Shades/fanfic post!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I have Seasonal Affective Disorder too. I notice a marked improvement in my mood when March rolls around, and it's all downhill after Halloween. Perhaps we need Hawaiian getaways each January to offset the winter blues?
Looking forward to next weekend. :-)
Oh, I love this ... these kinds of posts are always fun because we get to know our favourite bloggers a little better ... You are hilarious:)
ReplyDeleteWhat was your grandfather's one hit wonder? Dying to know ... and I too have a ridiculous memory for useless information/ trivia.
Have a great week!
